A 50 year-old woman has been killed by
unknown people at Seketia in the Jaman
North District of the Brong Ahafo Region
Thursday afternoon.
The deceased, identified as Ama Kyeremaa,
was said to be returning from her farm
Thursday when she was killed.
According to Adom News, the Jaman North
District Police Commander, Deputy
Superintendent of Police (DSP), Mr Vitus
Napen, who confirmed the incident said the
police were informed about the murder case
at about 2.30 pm Thursday.
He said the woman was found about 500
metres away from her farm with her head
completely chopped off and taken away when
the police visited the crime scene.
Beside the body which was lying in a pool of
blood, DSP Vitus Napen explained that a
basket containing fresh plantain suckers and
her cutlass was also lying beside her.
